Bruma Studio is a music and sound direction studio founded by composer and curator Pedro Portellano.

Working across contemporary music, visual arts and audiovisual media, the studio develops original compositions and sound design in collaboration with artists, filmmakers, creative studios and cultural institutions.

With music at the centre of its practice, Bruma Studio also develops artistic and cultural projects that extend beyond composition. From music programming and curatorial initiatives to listening experiences and collaborative projects, these activities emerge from the same musical sensibility, exploring new ways of creating, presenting and experiencing music.

Rather than approaching music and projects as separate disciplines, we understand them as interconnected expressions of a single practice — one that explores the relationships between sound, image, space and community.

Based in Madrid, Bruma Studio works internationally.
